EAIEN Project presentation at Science Fair in Romania
In June, our project partner Liceul Tehnologic “Ștefan Hell” (P4) proudly represented our Erasmus+ project at a regional Science Fair in Romania! They introduced the goals and activities of our initiative to students, educators, and the local community — raising awareness on green skills and AI in education. Thank you for being such enthusiastic ambassadors of the project! #ErasmusPlus#KA220#ScienceFair#GreenSkills#AIinEducation#ȘtefanHell#Romania#YouthInScience#EUProjects#EAIEN#ProjectVisibility
OCM1 for EAIEN Project by Politehnica University of Timisoara
This weekend, Politehnica University of Timisoara organized the first online coordination meeting of the international project The EcoAI EduNetwork Initiative (EAIEN) – an innovative approach dedicated to education focused on artificial intelligence, sustainability and digital skills for high schools. The project, funded by Erasmus+ KA2, brings together partners from Turkey, Greece and Romania, and the meeting was coordinated by lect. Ana-Maria Dascălu and prof. dr. Bogdan Mihai Dascălu, UPT representatives in the international research team.During the meeting, the project partners analyzed the current state of activities, discussed the adaptation and translation of the Teacher’s Manual, explored new promotion strategies and established the next steps for carrying out practical activities in high schools. Busting Myths: Computational Thinking for everyone
In this post, we highlight four misconceptions that often turn adult trainers away from computational thinking. Many people believe that you need to know how to program, that it only serves young people, that technology is always needed or that it is too difficult for certain profiles. But the reality is something else. Computational thinking is based on problem solving and can be taught with everyday examples. It’s accessible to all ages and training levels. It’s time to break down barriers and bring new ways of learning closer to more people. In this post, we highlight four common misconceptions that often discourage adult educators from using CT in their training. Many believe you need to know how to code, that it’s only for young people, that you always need a computer,…
