We are thrilled to announce that the "Local Observations" mobility has officially kicked off! Hosted by Liceul Tehnologic Stefan Hell Santana, our Student and Teacher Green Ambassadors from Turkey and Romania have come together for Work Package 3: Green Skills Crossing Borders Task 2: Local Observations. Today’s highlights included: A warm Opening Ceremony and school tour. Ice-breaking and team-building sessions to foster collaboration. Starting our structured observations within the school and the city of Santana. BuildAsNature final conference at the University of Reykjavik 18/3/2026

The final dissemination event of the European Erasmus+ project BuildAsNature: Serious Games for Building Resilience Through Nature-Based Solutions was successfully held on 18 March 2026 at the University of Reykjavík, bringing together researchers from across Europe. The event was co-organised by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Thessaly and its Creative Technologies Learning Lab (CTLL) research group. The BuildAsNature project focused on developing a digital learning game for higher education students to strengthen knowledge and skills in nature-based solutions. Through an interactive learning experience, the game supports students in exploring ways to address major sustainability challenges of the 21st century, with particular emphasis on the responsible management of water resources and the importance of working with nature to build a more sustainable future. TPM2 for COMPutational SENiors Project in Kaunas, Lithuania

On March 5th, 2026, the partners of the COMPutational Seniors project gathered in Kaunas, Lithuania, for the 2nd Transnational Project Meeting, hosted by Kaunas University of Technology. The meeting brought together organizations from Spain, Greece, Lithuania, and Poland with a shared goal: empowering adults through computational thinking skills. The meeting was an important opportunity for the consortium to strengthen cooperation, share ideas, and ensure that the project continues moving forward in a coordinated way. LET’s MIMIC presentation at the Soroptimist Society of Volos 11/3/2026

LET’s MIMIC was presented to the Soroptimist Society of Volos in the context of activities celebrating International Women’s Day. Approximately 30 participants had the opportunity to reflect on the importance of biomimicry for empowering women and communities to design solutions to the complex sustainability challenges of the 21st century in an active, agency-driven manner, redefining who is designing the future. The audience was familiarised with biomicicry concepts related to inspiration from natural models and processes, using the wisdom of nature and working with nature and not against it to create a better world.
