On 27th February 2025, DFA (Provincial Council of Álava) and Media Creativa held their 1st National Pilot Committee (NPC) of the COMPutationalSeniors project in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Spain). The National Pilot Committees play an essential role in the external evaluation of the project, which is why we hold them every six months in all the countries that make up the partnership. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Thessaly (DECE), specifically the Creative Technologies Learning Lab (http://ctll.e-ce.uth.gr ) research group, organised educational activities to design innovative solutions that apply digital technology to sustainability. During the online meeting, the consortium wrapped up a productive online meeting where our partners collaborated on the next steps for our project. We are actively working on Work Package 2, focusing on the development of Open Educational Resources (OERs) for adult trainers on Computational Thinking.

COMPseniors is making strides in developing educational modules to facilitate the integration of Computational Thinking into adult education. Currently, we are creating practical materials for trainers, including activities and strategies adapted to the needs of adult learners. The goal is to provide tools to enhance skills such as problem-solving and critical thinking in various learning contexts. We continue to refine the content to ensure that educators can effectively apply computational thinking in their classrooms.

On January the 11th, the kick-off meeting for the EAIEN took place online. The meeting began with an introduction to the project’s objectives and a detailed explanation of the work plan presented through a Gantt chart. Each partner organization delivered a short presentation to introduce their institutions and expertise, fostering collaboration and understanding among the partners.

Today, the consortium participated in the second online meeting.
