HERA presented in Erasmus+ days, 16/10/2021

HERA was presented in the context of Erasmus+ days. The event, which was organized by the Daissy group of the Hellenic Open University, took place on Saturday October 16, 2021 and had a duration of 90 minutes, during which the HERA project was presented along with activities of the Daissy group. The audience had the opportunity to reflect on the benefits of problem-based learning and gamification for promoting student engagement and the development of knowledge that can be transferred to the real world. A discussion concluded the event, addressing issues on the benefits of emerging learning design and practical tips on its integration into the classroom.

2nd HERA multiplier event in Estonia 20/9/2021

A 2nd multiplier event was organized in Estonia on September 20, 2021. The event took place virtually due to Covid-19 restrictions. The audience first had the opportunity to see a presentation of the project objectives, activities, and outcomes. Then, the organizers presented the HERA game and delivered a demo. In addition, the organizers presented videos of the game and learning sheets of supporting activities. Participants discussed the benefits of the HERA problem-based learning approach and deployed a real HERA game scenario. They provided very positive feedback on the HERA game potential. The event concluded with a discussion about the game and how teachers perceive it.
