As part of our project, we took our Green Ambassadors to the heart of Eskişehir’s energy production: the Integrated Solid Waste Disposal and Energy Generation Plant in Odunpazarı Sarısungur. We witnessed firsthand how 900 tons of daily domestic waste is transformed into 7.8 megawatts of electricity, powering tens of thousands of homes. From methane gas combustion to advanced bio-waste management, we explored the vital role these modern facilities play in creating a cleaner, greener future. Our EAIEN Green Ambassadors took their mission to Eskişehir’s city center! We were privileged to be the guests of Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce. From AI-driven solutions to zero-waste milestones, Dr. Aytaç Ünverdi provided a masterclass in modern urbanism. Proud of our Green Ambassadors for leading the dialogue with such brilliant insights. As part of the "GREEN Skills Peer Training Exchange", EAIEN Project hosted the "Green Ambassador" teachers and students from Liceul Tehnologic "Stefan Hell" Santana (Romania) and Özel Çağdaş Fen Lisesi at our project coordinator, Anadolu University.
