COMPutational SENiors “unplugged” activities box

We continue to move forward with great enthusiasm in the development of new resources aimed at bringing computational thinking closer to adult education in an accessible, practical, and meaningful way. The COMPutational Seniors project is designed to support adult educators and trainers in integrating computational thinking into their teaching practice, understanding it not only as a digital competence but also as a way of structuring ideas, solving problems, and making decisions in a more logical and creative manner. The e-Guide is a pedagogical proposal designed to guide trainers in the use and integration of Computational Thinking in the design, preparation and development of their adult training itineraries in both formal and non-formal environments. ReachOut project multiplier event with the High School of Iolkos 30/3/2026

On Monday, March 30, 2026, the Creative Technologies Learning Lab organised a multiplier event for the Erasmus+ project ReachOut, which develops a digital learning intervention to support school resilience against natural disasters. The project is highly relevant in the area of Volos and Magnesia, where natural disasters are frequently experienced as floods, earthquakes, wildfires, and others. The project develops educational activities for preparedness against natural disasters that can be integrated into diverse school subjects, ranging from STEM to physical education and art. 30 students and their teachers visited the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Thessaly.
