Pilot testing for COMPutational SENiors

If you’re reading this, it means you’ve been selected to take part in the testing of the COMPutational Seniors training resources. Thank you for joining us! This testing phase is being carried out simultaneously across several European countries, and your feedback is essential to help us improve these resources before the final release. 1st Greek NPC for Computational Seniors project

On the 22nd of May 2025, Future Learning held the 1st Greek National Pilot Committee (NPC) of the Computational Seniors project. The meeting took place online, as it involved people from all around Greece. The committee contains 6 people, including one pedagogic expert from the University of Thessaly in Volos, two experts from the Hellenic Open University in Patras, one expert from the University of Crete in Herakleion and two members of the Educational Authorities for the Region of Magnesia. During this session, we presented the Computational Seniors project and the initial version of our Open Educational Resources (OERs) in English and Greek to the group. We are very grateful for the time invested by our NPC members and look forward to our next meeting!

DigitCreche master class on game design and development 22/5/2025

The Creative Technologies Learning Lab organised a Masterclass on Game Design and Development on May 22, 2025. The class was organised within project DigitCreche, which promotes innovation in the creative industries in the Western Balkans. The event was attended by 20 students enrolled in the Games Design and Development course of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Thessaly.
