Project HERA: Higher Education Re-engineering through Active Learning for Growth, has just been funded by the ERASMUS+ programme through the Greek National Agency IKY. MUTUAL project multiplier event, June 4, 2019

CTLL organized on June 4, 2019 a multiplier event to promote the results of the MUTUAL project to the target sector of preschool and early primary school education. The event was organized in collaboration with the Primary Education Authorities of the area of Magnesia. The event activities included a presentation of the project and a presentation of multicultural activities developed in the course of the project in Greece, the UK, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, and Sweden. DesignIT project multiplier event 11/4/2019

A multiplier for the DesignIT project was held on April 11, 2019 at Xenia Hotel in Volos, Greece. The event was very well attended by 85 individuals, who used the DesignIT digital services to brainstorm on enriching learning practices on mathematics. CTLL at the 2nd ALIEN project meeting, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, January 9-11, 2019

CTLL coordinates the Erasmus+ Capacity Building for Higher Education project ALIEN: Active Learning in Engineering Education, which is funded by the European Commission. The aim of the research project is the upgrading of higher education at polytechnic schools in Asia. The project consortium includes 17 university partners, of which 12 are from Asia and specifically Malaysia, Vietnam, Nepal, Cambodia, and Pakistan, all 5 from Europe, and specifically from Portugal, Bulgaria, Estonia, United Kingdom, and Greece. Within the framework of the research programme an active learning methodology is developed for polytechnic schools. LEAP project presented in Lodz, Poland on September 28-30, 2018

The LEAP project has been selected by the Erasmus+ Green National Agency, IKY, to be presented in Lodz, Poland in a TCE event that highlights European funded research projects focusing on serious games, design thinking, and other innovative learning methods.The event was held on September 28-30,, 2018 and provided a very good opportunity for sharing project results and networking with other scientists with an interest on serious games, design thinking, and other emerging learning approaches.

ALIEN project kick-off meeting, June 20-22, 2018

LEAP project event, April 27, 2018

A multiplier event on the LEAP project results took place on April 27, 2017. It took place at Hotel Xenia in Volos and it was co-organized by the University of Thessaly and the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas. The purpose of the event was to promote the objectives, activities, and outcomes of the LEAP project to the target tertiary education sector as well as industry. The event was very well attended by 150 individuals approximately, all of whom were representative of the target sector.   The students that attended the event were from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Department of Arthitecture of the University of Thessaly.
