Cyberfort project 2nd consortium meeting in Sarajevo, 17-18/9/2025

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Thessaly (DECE), and specifically the Creative Technologies Learning Lab (CTLL) research group, is designing digital educational actions for the development of cybersecurity knowledge in vocational training in collaboration with educational organisations from the European Union and the Western Balkans. EAIEN Project TPM in Volos

This week we have the pleasure of hosting the 3rd consortium meeting of Erasmus+ project EAIEN at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Thessaly. The project aims to familiarize students with the use of AI and build green skills. Partners from Romania, Turkey, and Greece. The meeting was attended by 14 researchers over 2 days, working on the design of educational content for students and guidelines for teachers.

Green Skills Ambassadors Certified!

During our TPM in Volos, Greece, we were proud to present the official Green Skills Ambassador certificates to the five teachers who participated in the LTTA and joined us in Volos as members of the Project Management Committee.   The printed certificates of the other teachers were also entrusted to them, so they will be delivered to all participants shortly.  Once again, congratulations to all our dedicated teachers for completing the AI-Empowered Green Skills Education training and becoming true ambassadors of green skills in their schools and communities!

COMPutational SENiors finishes the Open Educational Resources for Adult Trainers

Soon, these tools will help educators bring computational thinking to adult education. At the same time, we are preparing the next step: the COMPutational Seniors e-guide, a practical resource that will help trainers integrate these methods into real-world learning environments. Step by step, we’re building a learning pathway that allows adults, especially those in vulnerable contexts, to develop computational thinking skills and confidence. We’re putting the final touches on our Open Educational Resources for adult trainers. Soon, these tools will help trainers bring computational thinking to adult education.
